Dexcom introduced Smart Basal, a new integrated titration module designed to simplify basal insulin initiation and adjustment. Announced at the 61st European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) Conference, the feature is currently under FDA and CE Mark review.

Smart Basal, built into the Dexcom G7 app, aims to make basal insulin management more straightforward for people with Type 2 diabetes and their providers. The feature was presented alongside new Dexcom CGM data at EASD, reinforcing how continuous glucose monitoring improves outcomes across diabetes types and offers a cost-effective alternative to fingersticks.
