Insulet has officially expanded access to its Omnipod® 5 App for iPhone, now compatible with the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor (CGM). This update allows users to fully manage their tubeless insulin delivery system directly from their iPhones, with features like automated insulin delivery every five minutes, customizable settings, bolus dosing, and access to real-time insights.

The rollout builds on Insulet’s earlier limited G7 launch and marks the first time that both G6 and G7 sensors are supported in the iPhone version of the app. Available on the Apple App Store, the app requires iOS 17.2 or later.

Insulet’s Executive Vice President Eric Benjamin noted that the update “represents a major milestone” in simplifying diabetes management by reducing the number of devices users must carry.
